Is it really free forever?
Yes. Hen Screenshots is free to use, including every template, device frame, and full-resolution export. There’s no subscription or paid tier.
Where do my screenshots and projects go?
Your captures are processed in your browser and your projects are saved on this device. They aren’t uploaded to a server. Download a project file to keep a backup or move your work to another browser or computer. Clearing this site’s browser data also deletes its saved projects.
Can I use this for my app store listing?
Yes. The App stores workspace includes size presets for the App Store and Google Play. Exports are checked for the selected dimensions and opaque RGB PNG format. Choose the preset for your device and listing; the editor links to each store’s current requirements.
Can I make mockups for my portfolio?
Yes. The Portfolio workspace includes rectangular cards, square and portrait layouts, wide canvases, and custom dimensions. Pair them with a phone, tablet, monitor, laptop, or simple screenshot frame.
Do I need to install anything?
No. Open the studio in your browser and start a project. A larger screen gives you more room to compose, and your project files let you take your work with you.
